The Michigan By Rail Public Forum in Muskegon will be held on December 8, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Shoreline Inn and Conference Center, located at 750 Terrace Point Blvd, Muskegon, MI 49440.
Please Join state Senator Gerald VanWoerkom, state Senator-elect Representative Goeff Hansen, Chair of the Muskegon County Board of Commissioners Ken Mahoney, Muskegon City Commissioner Clara Shepard, Montague Mayro Henry Roesler, Jr. and other elected officials and your fellow citizens for the Muskegon Michigan By Rail public forum.
The Michigan by Rail Forum in Muskegon is part of a series of public forums taking place throughout the state to engage citizens on a vision for the future of Michigan’s freight and passenger rail system.
The event will include an overview of the existing system; an interactive rail mapping session; discussion of financing issues and a big-picture vision of the future of Michigan’s railroad system.
Forums cities include Ann Arbor, East Lansing, Dearborn, Traverse City, Holland, Jackson, Detroit, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Flint, Royal Oak, and St. Joseph/Benton Harbor.
